Mr St. John was appointed to the Board in 2006. He has advised on over US$100 billion of equity and equity-related insurance in all major markets, worldwide.
He brings to Afren his broad experience, gleaned from past roles as Global Head of Equity Capital Markets at Dresdner Kleinwort, Commerzbank and Lehman Brothers and European Head of Equity Capital Markets at Citigroup – formerly known as Salomon Brothers. He is a founding Partner of STJ Advisers and, until recently, he was the Chairman of Equity Capital Markets at Nomura International plc.
