Mr Galib Virani Head of Acquisitions and Investor Relations
Mr Virani joined Afren in 2006, following a career in the City of London in Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions. Mr Virani has played a key role in the Company’s financing, in diversifying the shareholder base and in contributing to the overall growth of the Company’s portfolio of assets.
Mr Virani is an East African national and a member of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange Africa Board Advisory Committee. He is a fellow of the Securities Institute, and has a Master of Finance & Investment (with Distinction) and a Master of Philosophy in Emerging Market Finance.
