Ms Shirin Johri Group General Counsel and

Ms Johri has extensive experience advising on acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, infrastructure projects and private equity investment. Since joining Afren in 2006, she has led the Company in all significant corporate acquisitions.
Prior to Afren, Ms Johri worked in Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP’s African practice. She holds an LLM from the Cornell Law School, New York, an LLB (Hons) from Delhi University, India and a Bachelor’s degree from Delhi University. She has also been called to the New York Bar.
